I received this book a while back and have not shared it with you. It is a children's book called That's Where God Is by Dan & Ail Morrow with illustrations by Cory Godbey. A young boy asks Grandpa a question that many of us may have wondered ourselves: "Where is God?" Grandpa encourages the boy to look for God in the coming week. As the boy goes about his daily life he finds God every day...with the animals He created, when we share, and when we forgive. At the end of the week the boy shares with Grandpa where he has found God. This book is appropriate for preschool through early elementary aged children. Besides the spiritual message, this book also incorporates the days of the week. Also, each day has a different verse related to the place that the boy found God that day. The illustrations were not my favorite for a children's book. The layout and font were easy to read. Overall I enjoyed this book. Thank you to David C Cook book review program for providing me a review copy of this book.

"Grandpa, where is God?", a little boy asks. Instead of giving a quick answer, the wise grandfather turned the question into a bit of a game. He gave his grandson one week to look for God, and they would talk about it the next time they saw each other. Each day in the following week, the little boy saw glimpses of God in nature, in his friends, and in his family. What a beautiful time of discovery, and a valuable lesson. The touching ending in this book shows the grandfather gently leading his grandson into inviting God to live in his heart. This book is a real treasure, and one that I can't wait to share with my grandchildren.

That's Where God Is is a great example of how important grandparents are to their grandchildren. Now only to nurture and love them, but to also explore God with them. I really liked the fact that the grandpa didn't spoon-feed his grandson as to where God is. He allowed the boy to learn while searching out the answer for himself, while I'm sure Grandpa was praying. Ali and Dan's book shows the homey touch of the boy's home with his mom, siblings, a cat, and a dog; the young boy's outings; and natural, loving interactions at home. Along with the adventures of 'finding God,' Scripture is used to back up what he's learning about God. The grandpa is attentive to his grandson's observations the following week, affirming him, and going on to reveal more about God and prayer-His desire for a personal relationship. Grandparents, take note. Though your children are gone and have families of their own, God can and will use you in the lives of your grandchildren if you allow yourself to be available. Something He delights in doing. Take heart if you don't have children or grandchildren, God can use you in the lives of neighborhood kids or anywhere He knows you are open to invest in our future generation. This book was provided to me by Audra of The B & B Media Group, Inc., for my honest review.

When a young boy questions his grandfather about God and asks just where God lives, his wise grandfather gives him the best advice possible. He tells him to spend a week and search around and see if he can't find the answer out himself. The young boy finds out that his week of searching will lead him to the most unexpected places. Through daily discoveries the little boy finds God is in everything, from the smallest details in his life to the changes in the weather. He soon discovers that God is everywhere at all times and it's news he can't wait to share with his loving grandfather. I received That's Where God Is by Dan and Ali Morrow compliments of B & B Media Group and loved this wonderful classic children's book for any Christian family to own. It was something I read right when I got it with my youngest and can't wait to read it many more times with future grandkids and children that come by. This is a must for anyone who has children. I would rate this book a 5 out of 5!
