The 12 Days of Christmas by Tad Hills was a really cute book with the real lyrics to the 12 Days of Christmas song. The gifts are really being given and they are taking over all available space. My 7 year old loved it and insisted on singing her way through the story without anyone helping or singing along. I give the story 5 stars - the illustrations are perfect and add valuable insight into the song. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a WONDERFUL version of a classic and one that both kids and adults will love. The illustrations and animations are so unique and clever, and the sing-along is fun for the whole family. This is a "must" for the holidays and is sure to be a family favorite.
My 6 year old and I love this book. We've have been reading it every year for several years now. The artwork is beautiful. The artist has rendered such cute animals and used them in very funny situations. Reading, counting and singing to this book have become a holiday tradition!
