Chaos is at America’s doorstep. . . .

When former black ops specialist turned CIA operative Jonathan Keene is summoned to the White House, he’s not sure what to expect. And neither is FBI agent Megan Taylor. Together, they learn they’ll be working with former military chaplain Boz Hamilton to track down a man claiming to bear a message from God about the imminent downfall of the United States. But Keene isn’t buying the hype surrounding the so-called Prophet and would prefer to track down the terrorist alone.

As the three of them traverse the country and the globe in search of the Prophet, they’re led deeper down a path of deception and dead ends. Then news of the sudden disappearance of law enforcement officers along the US–Mexico border surfaces and casts a disturbing light on recent events. Suddenly they’re called to join a battle against an enemy no one saw coming.

As the US is pushed into a situation it hasn’t seen since its inception, a conflict awaits that will test the foundations of the country. . .and force Keene to face a past and faith he’d rather leave buried.

Editorial Reviews

Irene's Christian Reviews - Irene Grove
This is a great Christian suspense book. I enjoyed the setting and different cities the story took place in. I thought the characters were interesting and kept me cheering for them throughout the book. The plot itself was exciting and had me entertained the whole time. I gave this book 5/5 stars. If you enjoy action, suspense and a Christian themed story, then you will really enjoy this book! One of the best books I have read in the past year!
FreshFiction.com
This futuristic novel is set in the year 2025. The United States has had some poor leadership over the past several years, has downsized their military forces and is very vulnerable. Congress also restructured the checks and balances of the branches of government and has given sole power to Homeland Security for overseeing the CIA, FBI and the military. The nation is in serious trouble, politically, financially and spiritually. Will America be able to pull itself together and set itself on the right path? THE 13: FALL is the first of two books planned to tell this riveting, action-packed thriller series. You'll be spellbound from the first page. The authors have joined forces to produce a real winner that you will surely enjoy. Don't miss this one!

    Highly Entertaining and Informative!!

In the world of "what if" fiction alone, this book stands out. I found it suitable for both a general action adventure reader and also for the conservative Christian reader who wishes to be carried away in an action packed story while not seeking the sexual and profane overtones most secular writers use to push their tales along.

It warns of future possibilities, explains consequences of real world actions and inactions today, and also points to a way out of the problems into which this nation [the USA] and the world have sunk.

I found both the plot structure and the character development to be well defined and I truly cannot wait for the second book in the series to arrive in October 2013.

    Thought provoking.

Even though it is a fictious novel, it was also thought provoking. Fast paced and exciting. Recommend it to any who enjoy Tom Clancy.

Applicable Story Line For Our Times

Written by three pastors from Lebanon, Tennessee, this somewhat futuristic (set around 2025) novel is highly applicable to our current times, and really made me think about how the next few years really could transpire. Excellent story written to make us think how our nation needs to turn back to God and repent.

Excellent vision of the fall of America.

The author paints a vivid picture of how America could be removed as a world power, since there is no analogy of America in the Biblical End
    Times prophecies.

    Terrific!

Terrific read. This is a very fast-paced political and religious thriller. The characters are realistic, and the governmental situations very believable for the near-future setting of this novel. I liken it to reading the "Left Behind" series...not in content; but in the intriguing, God-centered puzzlements and the true battles of good vs evil that abound in our country and our world; in fact, in our very own thoughts, words, and deeds.

    Awful

Worst book ever. Written by Christian right-winged fundamentalist who believe that our military isn't strong enough the prevent the Chinese from taking over our country. Poorly written, unless you only have a fifth grade reading level. Characterization was poorly developed, dialogue banal, plot ludicrous and full of preaching. I was actually rooting for the Chinese in the end. Even though the book was free, I overpaid for it with my time. I won't be reading anymore in this series.

The end of the world as we know it, is near its end, good book

I feel that the authors are talking about a Prophet that they think is a terrorist and the Bible does talk about a anti-Christ that will walk the earth and this could be happening today. As the former CIA Johathan Keene is called to the White House he had no idea why. Also FBI agent Megan Taylor was called to the meeting. They were asked to track down who ever this is that the goverment is afraid is another terrorist about to strike at America. These two would be working alone with chaplain Boz Hamilton as he had the Bible knowledge that they could use. As they worked and the US was pushed toward a situation that it has never seen, will it force them to trust in God in a way they have never before. Johnthan Keene felt that he was being forced to find a faith that he wanted to stay buried. But God is working on him and something always happens when God intervens.

This book was a hard read as it carried me back to way before I was born when this great country of ours was struggling with immigration from all countries including illegal trade of humans. I feel that God made all of us and one color person is no better than the other and we sure was not formed from God's image to be bought and sold. Even in the old testement of the Bible they were.

As America today seems to be at the doorsteps of something bad happening to this country as we have fallen so far away from God. The authors are talking about a Prophet that they think is a terrorist and the Bible does talk about a anti-Christ that will walk the earth and this could be happening today. As the former CIA Johathan Keene is called to the White House he had no idea why. Also FBI agent Megan Taylor was called to the meeting. They were asked to track down who ever this is that the goverment is afraid is another terrorist about to strike at America.

Thanks to the authors and to the publisher for sending me this book for my review.
