I've gone on a lot of diets and read so many different books on weight loss, but this is the first book I've read where I don't feel like I'm buying into something that's too good to be true. This book has been very helpful. I'm using the information in it and it's really working for me! . This a great resource that I've use to learn everything for lose weight quickly and safely.

I have read a lot of diet, fitness, and wellness books. And like many people, I've tried quick weight-loss schemes and extreme exercise regimens--all of which resulted in short-term success and long-term failure. When I read this book, I felt relieved--and supported. In it, I found clear, concise information about adopting a wellness lifestyle, not about engaging in destructive dieting and exercise. The author is clearly an expert in her field--with a deep understanding of human nature and what keeps us from healthy living. This book has provided me with a resource I will use over and over again. I'll be recommending this to friends for sure.

no where in the book does it talk about losing 10 pounds in 10 days. There is some good info (nothing ground breaking) - but I bought it for a quick fix like the title suggests and that just was not accurate.

I suppose I should have waited the full 3 weeks since I read this in order to give an accurate review of how well the practice of this book. I have lost 12 lbs and I feel fantastic.

This book made me think of the word 'diet' in a completely different way. It's not just a fad that you try and torture yourself with for a week or two. It's a whole new way of eating and living. Thank you Jennifer. I feel great, and I'd recommend this book and this way of eating to anyone!

I would recommend it to anyone wanting to lose weight. Jennifer Tracy has written an easy to follow, yet effective, plan for tackling those psychological stumbling blocks that keep us from achieving our health and weight loss goals. Even I knew some of the principles before; she made me clearly understand "how" and "why". Now I have a "real" guide to help me in my way to "new me". She also gives healthy meal plans which are very well put together. This book gets to the heart of weight loss. This book gave me a clean, clear plan and she made me a believer. A must read for anyone who is serious about good health. Thank you, Jennifer.

I lost over 24 lbs. More than just loosing fat, this book showed me how to stay on correct track, eat healthy and not feel like "diet"ing. Great!
