This is an awesome book but you can not change the font size so it is really hard to read on nook color.

This has a clean, simple style that makes for very easy reading, and--more important in the long run--easy reference down the line. It is also very all-inclusive: there are foods and ingredients that aren't necessarily run-of-the-mill for us in everyday American culture, yet they have multiple specialists weigh in on them. So this wide variety of healthful things for our bodies is a fantastic tool. Additionally, as i mentioned multiple specialists, the authors consult many others, and it becomes like obtaining many second-opinions all at once. It frankly even makes a pretty and interesting coffee table book. Originally, it was recommended to me by the biggest health nut I know-he was right.

Great descriptions with wording a non medical person understands. The form makes it easy to remember and add to your everyday meals.

I have bought six copies of this book--five as gifts for friends and family. This is a wonderful guide for general healthy eating and it also provides detailed information on nutrition involving specific ailments/health issues. The photographs are also great. I love this book.

"The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth" is very informative. Good information. We highly recommend "Rainbow Green"; "The Green Foods"; "The Raw Food Revolution Diet"; and "Raw 50" are very informative books. "Complete Idiot's Guide To Eathing Raw" is a good book to start with for learning about raw food. It has good recipes and a simple layout. We also recommend "The Sprouting Book" by Ann Wigmore; "Ani's Raw" by Ani Phyo (but be careful with using all recipes with nuts - you'll gain weight); all Moosewood books (they are not all raw, but have good raw and not raw recipes) "Moosewood Restaurant Cooks At Home" (best simple starter); "Moosewood Restaurant Daily Special"; "Simple Suppers"; "Moosewood Restaurant Celebrates"; "Sundays At Moosewood Restaurant"; and "Moosewood Restaurant Low-Fat Favorites" (although I don't recommend "low-fat" - just use healthy fat - you can see the difference "The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth" by Jonny Bowden)

Love the book, bought it as a gift for a friend, she and her husband love it too. It's a very useful book for me and it has helped me get a grip on understanding what the various fruits, vegtables, grains, and oils do for the body. It give great informaiton about what is the best for the body. It's like a food dictionary. It also helped me to know what I need to realistically buy organic. It's a great resource and tool. I tell all of my friends about it and they love it too.

Love this book. Instead of having to read lots of articles, different things in different places - you have everything in one book. Well written (it makes surprisingly easy and enjoyable reading), a lot of information. well resourced, objective. Even though I have a huge knowledge of what is and isn't good for you, I found this book very inspiring and motivating. Started to eat even healthier already.
