The 1920 Olympic Games: Results for All Competitors in All Events, with Commentaryby Bill Mallon, Anthony Th Bijkerk
This seventh volume concludes the series compiled by Mallon (International Society of Olympic Historians) to chronicle the earliest Olympic Games. The present volume provides results for all competitors in all the events, using an impressive array of 1920 sources that include international journals for the various sports, international newspapers, and secondary sources, as the results were never officially published. An introductory chapter gives the background to the 1920 Games (held in Antwerp); appendices provide updated statistics from earlier games, lists of competitors by country, and the program for the 1920 Games.
