I am about 3/4 of the way through this book and I love it. It has helped my marriage drastically, and it didn't take long. I started applying some of the tiips from the very first chapter and almost immediately I could feel a slight shift. Most of the things in this book are very easy to do, so much so that they may seem like common sense - but sometimes you need an outside perspective to help you see what you have been doing wrong. If your marriage could use a little pick me up, I can't recommend this book enough.

Most couples who come to my office for counseling want specific strategies and exercises that will promote effective communication, tenderness, and overall goodwill. This book has no padding. It succinctly defines the qualities that successful couples possess and offers the reader a total of 150 exercises to bring about positive, healthy changes in the relationship. I hope you find it worthwhile. For improved communciation between you and your children, I suggest 'How to Say It to Your Kids!'
