A completely revised and updated blueprint for happier marriages!

It's better--and easier--to change your relationship than it is to change your partner. Based on Dr. Paul Coleman's experience with thousands of couples, this groundbreaking guide shows you thirty proven ways to do just that. In this comprehensive all new edition, Dr. Coleman offers fresh insights for a happy marriage, such as:

  • Don't expect miracles overnight.
  • Stop judging and start accepting.
  • Tap into the power of small talk.
  • Encourage each other's dreams.
  • Reduce conversation killers.
  • Eliminate the seven sexual myths.
With The 30 Secrets of Happily Married Couples on your bedside table, you can make your marriage stronger and happier--whether you've been married for five days or fifty years!

After studying hundreds of couples, Dr. Coleman discovered that "happy" marriages share 30 distinct traits, such as knowing when to talk and when to listen, halting the blame game, and balancing logic and emotion. Besides feeling inner peace, happy couples also live longer, are healthier, and have better adjusted children than those in a destructive or unhappy marriage.

    Love it!!

I am about 3/4 of the way through this book and I love it. It has helped my marriage drastically, and it didn't take long. I started applying some of the tiips from the very first chapter and almost immediately I could feel a slight shift.

Most of the things in this book are very easy to do, so much so that they may seem like common sense - but sometimes you need an outside perspective to help you see what you have been doing wrong.

If your marriage could use a little pick me up, I can't recommend this book enough.

    Why I Wrote This Book!

Most couples who come to my office for counseling want specific strategies and exercises that will promote effective communication, tenderness, and overall goodwill. This book has no padding. It succinctly defines the qualities that successful couples possess and offers the reader a total of 150 exercises to bring about positive, healthy changes in the relationship. I hope you find it worthwhile. For improved communciation between you and your children, I suggest 'How to Say It to Your Kids!'
