When I picked up The 4-1-1 on Life Skills, I was surprised at its breadth. This slim volume takes the reader from teenage mom helper through home buying and financial planning to senior concerns about disaster preparedness and funeral preparations. There is a lot of information in between, all squeezed into 133 pages. The trade-off for this breadth is lack of depth. All items are in bullet form and range from a simple overview to suggestions that will lead to an internet search. This is clearly meant as a guide and starting point, not as a comprehensive reference. That doesn¿t diminish its value, however. You will find yourself reaching for this volume again and again and you won¿t be disappointed. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
