So, you want to start a business? Or, take your existing business to the next level? Did you know that there are a number of critical steps you need to get right to ensure business success? The 5 Keys could be just what you are looking for.

This book contains a simple set of instructions that anyone can follow. Really, this book should be called “The Pillars Of Business Success” because The 5 Keys lay the foundations on solid ground. Get these steps right and the foundations will last into the future.

Originally written in 2011, this is the first book written by the Author, John Kirk, who is an Australian Small Business Trainer and Mentor. No matter whether it’s your first business or your tenth, you need a proven course of action. John has been down that path and he knows all of the pitfalls.
Over the past 30 years he has been a Financial Planner, an Auditor for the Australian Taxation Office and a Trainer for Australian Small Business centres in Sydney and Wollongong. He currently holds the position of Micro Business Trainer for Illawarra ITeC. This position assists new businesses to get off to a solid start by providing a formal training and mentoring program. Approximately 80 local start up businesses a year pass through this process.

Here is what some of his students have said about him. “John is very knowledgeable and tells lots of relevant stories”. “I have learnt a lot from John. He is calm and humorous.”

The objective of The 5 Keys is to help you to step back from your business idea and to think carefully about your future direction, your goals and what it is that you really want out of your business and your life. It is all about ‘taking control.’

John says that your business should be your servant.....not your master. It should exist simply so that you can live life the way you want to. A good strong work/life balance is essential to business and personal satisfaction.

The 5 Keys will assist you to think, strategise, plan and implement in your business. Doors that were previously locked will begin to open for you. Don’t be surprised if you begin to see things differently after reading The 5 Keys.
