Great!!

Beautiful Stranger A-List # 9 Zoey Dean Little, Brown and Company 978-0-316-11352-6 Now this is the A-list novel I have been waiting for, without even knowing it. This one left me on the edge of my seat, dying to turn the page. ‘Beautiful Stranger’ captured my attention, the way none of the other ones did. All kinds of emotions were evoked by reading this novel. The novel starts with Anna trying out her ‘dating’ Ben and Caine at the same time. She enjoys a night with both of them. She is as usual conflicted because, well that’s just so Anna. Which is starting to get annoying, to be honest but it still makes a great story. I find myself yelling at Anna’s character to just go for it, stop being her mother and being so darn well bred and cautious. Anna is thrown for quite a loop when Caine tells her that he’s going back to his ex-girlfriend Bernadette and he cannot see her anymore. Anna feels relieved, she thinks her decision is made up for her, however what she doesn’t see coming, is Ben dumping her as well. When Anna is very supportive of something Ben is doing, he is finished with her. Eduardo pops a big question to Sam and from there on Sam is beyond paranoid. Even going as far as dumping him when she catches him doing something that was supposed to be a surprise for her. Sam really starts to become a woman in this one although her self-esteem issues do get her into trouble with Eduardo. Cammie is more than happy to help Ben in his dream of starting up a club and even more than that. She is trying to get back into his arms after Adam so cruelly stood her up and picked Michigan over her. She would love to give Adam and Anna something to be jealous over. The old Cammie is back yet again but with a few more grown up qualities. When Sam and Anna go to New York for a week, Anna’s life is turned upside down. She will be going to Yale soon but her Yale meeting was less that exciting and her old childhood friend Logan appearance makes things even more complicating. Will she continue on the path she has had laid out for her since she was eight or start a new one that is actually for the real Anna? This novel was really a step up in the A-List series, I really enjoyed all the books before these but this one was exceptionally good. The characters showed more depth, I felt like they branched off into a new world. They definitely weren’t in that high school stage of life anymore, and I can honestly say it’s such an enjoyment to see that. A very wonderful book, intriguing, delicious and well worth your time.

    Surprised

I wasn't expecting to like this since Anna gets a new boyfriend and she and Ben break up. I was shocked though because I loved it. Definitely one of my favorites of the series.

Previously in The A-List: Cammie and Anna had to work together on a fashion show, against their will, after getting caught trespassing on private property. Sam was trying to keep all the pieces in her life together, while Caine and Adam ran out of luck.

Now the A-Listers are back and this time, it's every person for themselves.

Anna wants to get away and clear her head since everything unexpected that has been happening to her. And so, along with her traveling buddy, instead of going to Mexico, her and Sam are off to Anna's hometown, New York. But Sam is there with a different motive: Could her boyfriend possibly be hiding something from her? So now playing private detective is the only way to solve her problems.

Back in L.A., Cammie isn't wasting her time staying single. She needs, no wants, to move on, and since Ben and Anna aren't really a couple now, Ben is looking better by the minute. Besides, she had already warned Anna about her plans if things didn't work out with Adam.

But does Anna really need Ben, since she is trying to become more independent, and now has someone from her past back in her life, possibly for good? And will Cammie successfully snag Ben, or will Ben wait for the one who he says he loves?

Another drama-filled installment that will leave us wanting more, BEAUTIFUL STRANGER will not disappoint any fan of the series. Look out for the next one, CALIFORNIA DREAMING, releasing in April 2008.

    I love this book!

This book is amazing.I hope that Cammie and Adam don't get back together, because Adam is such a nice guy. Ben sounds really cute...but I'm not sure he is the guy for Anna, but I do think that Logan would make a better match for her. And Sam and Eduardo belong together...there is not doubt about that.

Cliff Hangers... A Book Readers Worst Nightmare

This book is now my favorite of all the books in the series! Not only is her Beautiful Stranger so perfect for her, but the way they ended this book left me with the biggest craving for more, none of the other books left me nearly as crazed. I must say it was exceptionally brillant how the last word, of the last chapter, was right at the end of the page... so your basically reading you think you still have more to read on the next page and then you flip the page only to find out... NOPE! YOU DONT! haha Yes, I have this book 5 out of 5 stars!!!

i think that this book was seriously really good, but i hated the fact that ben and anna aren't together anymore. that killed me, mostly because of cammie. i thought that ben was being a real a** and i rlly wish cammie hadn't ended it with adam. it was really good tho that eduardo and sam are engaged and i didn't exactly love logan, but o well. can't wait for the next one!

Omg. I think that this book had to be one of the best in the whole series. I hung on every word but when i got to the end and saw four dots i seriously spent about 10 minutes with my mouth open and saying ' What does dot dot dot mean'. Of course in real life I know it means, and so on, but you just wanna know if he's on the plane or not. And I'm glad Anna took a leap with someone either than ben, cause their romance is like a roller coaster, up and down. But their connection keeps you hoping that they'll end up together even with all the interuptions (cough cough CAMMIE). Thx!

    Great, but not that great.

As much as I love the series, this book has disappointed me. I hate the on-agin-off-again sequence between Ben and Anna. And that cold hearted Cammie just makes things worse. The only part I love about this book is that Eduardo proposes to Sam.

    Rockin' Book Series!!!

This whole series is so great! I can't wait to read this book! These book are just so dang addicting and I never want to put them down! Not even when I am re-reading them and I know what is going to happen! This series is the best! I have to say that Anna needs to stay with Ben or she is so stupid and will never forgive herself for losing him. Cammie needs to stick with Adam, too because Ben is way too in love with Anna to love her too! Sam and Eduardo are really great together and they make the book seem all the more real. These books are so much fun to read over the summer or during a vacation or anytime!!! I love these books and I am so excited that September is almost here!
