The ABC's for Overcoming Writer's Block

There are many ways to overcome writer’s block. In this course, you learned some important ways to do just that. In this e-book, you will learn a few more tips on how to overcome writer’s block. As you read this e-book, please keep an open mind. Try and reflect on which tips apply to you. This will be very helpful when you try and assess your experiences with writer’s block.
You may not want to read this e-book all in one sitting. It is a workbook of sorts. The first part of this book contains tips to overcome writer’s block. The second part of the book contains exercises that you can try for yourself. They can serve as journaling prompts that you can reflect about in your writer’s journal. Or, you could write your answers in the spaces provided. It is your choice.
I have had students who start writing their reflections in the spaces provided, and for some of the prompts they discovered that there wasn’t enough room to writer their reflections. These were usually questions that they continued to write about in their writer’s journal. Pay attention to those questions that you want to really write and reflect about. These may be areas where you need to make changes in order not to be overwhelmed by writer’s block. I will be examining some of these areas in this e-book.
