Overview

Sang Sorenson used to be the invisible girl in class. As a new student to Ashley Waters High School, Sang hopes that her new friends will be the change she's been craving and will make fitting in a breeze.

But Academy students aren't there to take it easy. The high school is overcrowded and rife with violence. When fights begin, Sang will uncover the true reason the boys traded in their private school life for a public one.

This year, Sang will no longer be invisible. This year, Sang is a target.

The principal and vice principal are hot to take Sang down, and her own mother is determined to entrap Sang forever in her belief that the safest place to be is in the shadows. Despite this, Nathan, Luke, Kota, North, Silas, Victor, and Gabriel will discover Sang's unyielding loyalty.

And they will sorely need it.

The Academy, supremely influential.

If you enjoyed Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard or the Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter, you may enjoy this series.

I was brought to this series via a free book email. I haven't bought a book in over 6 months but I have already bought books 2 & 3 and fully expect to purchase the rest of this series. For such a hard core reader as myself it is difficult to peak my interest and this series has my full interest. Good job!

Where are the teachers or parents, particularly Kato's mom the nurse, when Sang (and her normal American teen named sister) being forced to kneel on rice spread intentionally on the floor, and kept neglected, un-fed, locked for hours in their rooms? Why is no one consulting the authorities to come visit this home? Also, why are none of these boys experiencing very normal physical reactions to their personal closeness, affection for, sharing clothing with, sleeping or comforting her in a bed with Sang? It is nice, in terms of innocence and teenage naivitee' which may not exist anywhere beyond my memory, and I was considered a goody-two-shoes in high school in the late 70s?  I had the world's most perfect boyfriend throughout high school and by mutual agreement we did not go all the way until college, as we knew the consequences and knew how he had come into the world, and had far too much to lose in terms of our plans and scholarships and parental expectations of their eldest children who had been easy to raise, popular, athletic, and were living examples to their peers and siblings...but there are SEVEN of these sweet smelling boys who sweat and work out and fight and still smell like cologne and vanilla and saddle leather and never "that guy smell" of too -much testosterone in too-small a bedroom. It is a huge leap of reality to continue reading these books (and is it TOO MUCH TROUBLE to put the number of each in  the title to make purchasing them and reading them not so much a research effort)? I do like these books, but I need some answers p.d.q. if you expect me to buy any more of them. Like which one is 4th? 5th?  6th? Is there an end in sight?Thank you,   JAH

This book was even more fun than the first one. I loved it, love the characters, and I am completely hooked. Already on to book 3! Keep it up C.L Stone. These characters and their situations are all great. I enjoyed this book because we really take our time getting to know each guy and having fun a little more, which was great. Though man, some of the situations are really tough. I love all seven...wait 9 guys in this book. I can't wait to read more!

You will be unable to put this book down once started ... I loved it! I fell in love with this series while redaing the first volume. The second did not disappoint me at all. Worst, now I'm an addict and an huge fan! The action moves from Sang's neighborhood and violent home to a violent high school with many problems. Dangerous situations become more intriguing and problems are popping up everywhere. Sang is a magnet for troubles even if she just try to stay out of them! While Sang discovers new things about her gorgeous friends and the Academy, she also learns to keep secrets. And secrets are raining...  Sure it keeps the reader on the alert! You will be unable to put this book down once started ... In terms of characters, the boys are drop-dead gorgeous, always sweet and caring especially when they try to protect Sang. As for the heroine, Sang, is incredibly loyal and always try to help.  This heroine is touching with her crappy mother and disturbing family... So the reader wants to follow her adventures and especially to know which of her friends will make her succumb ... Hard to say... All the boys are different and charming in their differences. I wouldn't want to pick one against another! But they are hot even if the story is chaste! Newcomers, known as Dr. Green and Mr. Blackbourne, are mysterious and hide many dark sides. Sang has an important role to play in the plot.  As one goes along the pages, the feeling intensifies while the reader is still keeping in the dark. Something huge will happen...  When I got at the end, I was groaning out loud... Frustrated to have to wait to know more...But it was a good anticipation! I like the fact that the author is able to make me frantic about her work and her characters! A series that devours so easily...Fascinating and addictive! Lucie newbooksonmyselves.blogspot.fr

Hey! It's me, Leafdapple. And before, I just wanna tell you that this is all constructive critisism, and it's to make you a better writer. <br> <br> So, I like your overall story line. I think you can build on the main character and Kelsey. Also, when the boy was looking at her, include in the next chapter why. There are a few grammar mistakes, but other than that, it's GREAT! <p> D &epsilon s &tau &iota &eta &gamma

I walked in to school with my backpack on one of my shoulders. <p>"Hey Nelly!!" My friend Kelsey yelled out to me. I was so lucky to have a friend at this school. I was the new kid and new kids are always outcasted by the cool kids until they decide where you stand. I waved back to Kelsey and walked over to her. <p>"Hey Kelsey." I said. I noticed that a bunch of kids, boys and girls, were around her. One boy was particularly looking at at me. <p>"Guys this is Nelly. She's the new girl." <p>"Hi Nelly." All of the kids said it at once. I waved back and Kelsey introduced me to her friends. There was Will, the boy who was lookig at me, his best friend Nico, Brian, Luke, Garret, and TJ. Out of the girls there was Stephanie, Kaitlyn, Kassandra, and Lola. I made a mental note to try to remeber these names. <p>*BRRRIIINNNG!!!!* <P>The mornig bell went off and kids from outside started to come in the school. Kelsey's friends started walk off and said bye and good luck to me. <p>"C'mon. We have the same homeroom. I'll lead you there."
