Meet the Author

Josh’s bestselling novel BEYOND JUSTICE is taking the world by storm, one reader at a time. Many of his readers blame him for sleepless nights, arriving to work late, neglected dishes and family members, and not allowing them to put the book down.

BEYOND JUSTICE, THE ACCIDENTAL EXORCIST, and DEATH AND TAXES, have hit multiple bestseller list on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble topping titles by John Grisham, Linda Fairstein, Scott Turrow and James Lee Burke. Rising high on the Barnes & Noble lists, it has topped all but the two most recent titles by John Grisham.

Publishers Weekly described BEYOND JUSTICE as:

“…A riveting legal thriller…. breaking new ground with a vengeance… demonically entertaining and surprisingly inspiring.”

Under a different pen name, Joshua has been published in three Simon & Schuster anthologies. He’s a graduate of the Oregon Professional Writers Masterclass run by Dean Wesley Smith and Kristine Kathryn Rusch.

Joshua grew up in Brooklyn, NY where he lived for the better part of 30 years. There he attended Stuyvesant High School and went on to graduate with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music performance at the Juilliard School. As a musician (cellist) he's appeared on the stages of Avery Fischer Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and Carnegie Hall. Graham has toured the United States, Canada, Egypt, Israel, South Africa and Jordan, where he appeared as a soloist on national television for a command performance commissioned by Queen Nor al Hussein.

For four years, he lived in Baltimore, MD where he studied and eventually received his doctorate from Johns Hopkins University. During that time he taught as a professor at Shepherd College (WV), Western Maryland College, and Columbia Union College (MD).

Today, he lives with his beautiful wife and children in San Diego, where the unjustly mild climate of “America’s Finest City” justifies its moniker. It was here that he began a decade long career in the IT field starting as a Support Lead and eventually becoming a Director of Operations. All the while writing fiction. Several of his short fiction works have been published by Pocket Books.

A member of the Oregon Writers Network, Graham is a graduate of the Master Classes and professional writing workshops held by Dean W. Smith and Kristine Kathryn Rusch. Dean and Kris and the entire OWN, have played a huge role in his decision to become a writer. Graham feels he owes them a huge debt of gratitude!

Redemption story with undertones of Stephen King and Harper Lee

This was a short story, but free so I decided to give it a try. I really liked it and I agree with other reviewers. It reminded me of "The Shawshank Redemption" and "To Kill a Mockingbird" too!

    Great read!

I never liked short stories before, but I think this one might have changed my mind! This was a great read which only took a few minutes of my time, but left a deep impression. I think I actually heard of a true story very similar to this one, as incredible as it may be. In a few short minutes I got deeply connected to the main character. The writing reminds me of Stephen King's "Shawshank Redemption."

A bit too religious for my tastes, but if you like tales of redemption it may be your cup of tea.

Well written, but heavy on the religious overtones. That being said, if you like to read christian fiction it's a nice short story. Some of the plot points I had some trouble finding to be believable, but it all ties in with the message of forgiveness and peace.

    Quick Read

For a short, free story it was enjoyable. Funny thing was I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it or not and by the time it was over I actually wished it was longer

    Evangelical book

This is not a short story but an evangelical tract promoting Christianity.

    Don't recommend.

I started to read it but it's not my type of book. I found it distasteful in its descriptions.

    One long advertisement

This isn't a book. It's a short story buried between uncleverly disguised advertisement for author's other works and first chapter of what you think is the actual book but is from another story...

    Horrible excuse for a book!

The previous reviews that I read didn't do justice for this book. I understand what the author was trying to do.......show a bad guy turned good.....accepting Jesus, but did he really have to use God's name in vain even if it was a quote of another character??? Please take some tips from other Christian authors. You still have room for improvement.

It is hard to rate this one - so be sure to read the why of 2 st

It is hard to rate this one - so be sure to read the why of 2 stars.  I found this in a list of free religious fiction books. I came over here and snagged it as fast as I could.  I began to read it and was instantly drawn in. I love a good mystery/suspense.  I was scratching my head, however, at the language. I thought this was a religious novel.  There has never been any swearing in any of my christian fiction books, until this one.  Then after maybe 10 minutes of reading....I come to the end.  What? That is all there is?  I'm so disappointed.  So, lest you think you are getting this great free read, it is very, very short.  I never waste my time on short stories. This is more like an article in a reader's digest it is so short. Very, very disappointing. And why the foul language?? Is that even necessary?

This was an absolutely silly group of words put together I ever read. No story, no anything! It was hardly a short story. Don't bother, and certainly don't pay. I'm giving it one star because I couldn't submit with no stars.

    BUMMER

Ummm....Where is the rest of this book?!!!! This wasn't a free book. I actually paid for a book that barely had the storyline set, then there was NOTHING! I wouldn't even call this a short story. I gave it 1star so I could enterthis post, otherwise it's a big fat 0 since there was nothing to post about.
