The Adventures of Bouragner Felpz, Volume I: A Study of Magic
In a world filled with magic, young orphan Corianne Birch is steadfastly ordinary. But when she is adopted by her godfather, the flamboyant consulting magician Bouragner Felpz, Corianne finds herself entangled in adventures ranging from the mysterious to the macabre. Confronted by living shadows, capricious fairies, friendly necromancers and strange ghosts, Corianne must come to terms with her own peculiar brand of magic, as well as her enigmatic guardian—who is, like many things in her world, more than he appears. In the end it is up to her to solve the greatest mystery of them all: that of Bouragner Felpz himself.

These eleven stories, collected here in one volume for the first time, cover her early adventures with Bouragner Felpz—from their first awkward foray into a cursed mansion, to the last mission Corianne undertook as a young woman. This volume also contains an exclusive introduction written by their companion Abharus.

The stories in "The Adventures of Bouragner Felpz, Volume I" were originally published individually by Goldeen Ogawa from 2011–2012. Heliopause proudly presents this collection, complete with the original illustrations by the author.
