Adventures of Tintin is completely absorbing to my 10 year old son. He loves the graphics, humor, and adventure. Parents like the fact that Tintin books are set around the world and bring the opportunity to learn about geography in a fun way. This is a book a 10 year old won't put down, and will read again and again. It would also be excellent for reluctant readers because of the comic stylel format. The vocabulary;however, is much more sophisticated than a typical comic book, and the books have a much broader range of themes than a typical superhero comic book.

I grew up with Tintin. So I was really excited to get this for my daughter, especially after i saw the 5-star reviews by others. But this book is IMPOSSIBLE to read! My 7-year old (who has perfect vision BTW) had to use a magnifying glass! It appears as though they have scanned the original books, decreased the font size like 5 times to squeeze the original version into a a little book. I'm afraid we are returning it! I'm very disappointed.

I absolutely enjoyed this book. I always ask my dad what books he used to read as a child, and he told me the Tintin series. Since he used to live in England, he was also able to watch the cartoon. I have helped many people discover this fascinating book and enjoy it. A must read for all ages.

Perfect for all ages!! I have been reading TINTIN for over 27 years! I have ordered all the 7 volumes but I wish the print and size were similar to the original comic books. Nevertheless, TINTIN remains to be the 8th wonder for me!
