Chapter One

Tommy the Turtle woke up excited because today he was going to visit his friends in the sea. After breakfast, he said goodbye to his mother and headed out to the sea.

Down, down, down he dove deep into the water.

He stopped in front of the cave of Ollie the Octopus.

"Ollie, can you come out and play?" shouted Tommy the Turtle. Ollie the Octopus came out and he held eight big lollipops in his arms.

Ollie said, "Today is the day of the party in Paradise Cove, remember?" "Sure," said Tommy the Turtle. "Let's go get everyone else! I love parties!"

Swimming down Coral Lane, they met the Crab Brothers who waved their pinchers in greeting. "Ready for the party, boys?" asked Tommy the Turtle. "We love parties!" said the Crab Brothers together.

Swimming further down Coral Lane, they met Cassandra the Catfish. "Hi, everyone," she said. "Are you going to the party in Paradise Cove?" "Yes, and you are invited! Come with us." Tommy and Ollie said. "Oh, goodie," Cassandra purred. "I love parties"!
