Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Joyce Rice
The little girl is sitting among the trees in the forest feeling sad and alone when she is visited by a great bird, who shows her just how special she is. The black and white drawings are childlike and will appeal to young readers. The use of affirmations by all the animals of the forest teaches children to think in positive terms about themselves. The effect of this approach is an increase in self-confidence and self-esteem. The value of this text lies in the storyteller's ability to apply its teaching to the life of each child who hears it. An excellent addition to the home or church library.

    Great for Self-Esteem

Great book for introducing children to the value of positive self-talk. Now children can learn how to be a part of creating their own good health and positive self image. My child's self-esteem was low until she started to follow the animals in the story as they taught her how to use affirmations. We are both happier for it.
