Overview

This 164 page eBook contains all of Thomas Paine's lesser known works on God, Deism, Judaism, Christianity, and the Bible. Although they are lesser known, they are still of the highest importance just as all of his writings are. Topics he addresses in this book include the doctrine of predestination, the idea of a Sabbath day, the unification of reason with belief in God being Deism, Christian revival meetings and the power of emotion, the genocidal Hebrews and their religious state of Israel, the superstitious belief in Satan and demons, the fact that there is no need for clergy and many, many more thought provoking topics and ideas. As always, Thomas Paine does an outstanding job of defending The Supreme Intelligence/God from "revealed" religion!

Meet the Author

Thomas Paine was a key founding father of the USA. John Adams wrote, "Without the pen of Paine, the sword of Washington would have been wielded in vain." Paine helped start the American Revolution by writing Common Sense and contributing the proceeds to the rebel army. When the war was going bad for the American rebels and people wanted to quit, Paine wrote The Crisis which gave them enough strength and hope to stay in the fight.

Paine fell out of favor with the majority of people when he wrote The Age of Reason which promoted Deism over all of the "revealed" religions. Paine believed God gave us reason and not religion. In The Age of Reason, The Complete Edition he calls for a revolution in religion based on our innate God-given reason and Deism.
