This is a terrific album, well written and easy to listen too. From Cut 1, it sounds like a better rehearsed and more mature Vampire Weekend. Great beats, smart lyrics...and cut 7 Sometime Around Midnight, is the years first sing along anthem that stays with you all day. I can't get it out of my CD player. Monty Ballard

I bought the album for "Sometime around Midnight" i just loved the lyrics of the song, I think they're a great band with quirky songs and real lyrics, and i love that most of their songs dont have a "hook", its just a mini-story. My only gripe is it's just tooooo short, only 10 songs about 35 min long, i look forward to hearing any future (hopefully longer) albums. I totally recomd it, take a listen on Pandora, they have a few on there and then get the CD if you like it.

I have really enjoyed this CD, it hasn't come out of my CD player in my car much since I bought it.

When I first heard this band on the radio, I tried to figure out who it was. I called the radio station that was playing it but could never get through. One day while I was at Barnes and Noble I heard their song playing overhead and I immediately rushed to the music department to find out who it was. I bought the CD that same day. It's playing in my car all the time and my 4 year old daughter loves it too! It reminds me of the Clash somewhat but more modern maybe.
