Overview

When a group of aliens called the Aruk abduct Rivinaig and several other children, They are thrown into the adventure of a lifetime. The Aunantet, a benevolent race of aliens, rescue the children and adopt them into their culture and raised them as if they belong.

The children's new families teach them how to harness the full capacity of their minds, enabling them to defy the laws of physics and develop special mental abilities.

The past returns to haunt them as the Aruk plot revenge and regain control of their former captives. The fate of the entire galaxy depends on whether the children can maintain their freedom.

About the Author

I am a geek, a sci-fi fanatic, and I love space travel stories. My favorite sci-fi story growing up was A Wrinkle In Time. The Alien Mind is similar in feel. It too explores alternate methods of space travel as well as the potential of the human mind. Both sets of characters learn to overcome obstacles in their stories by facing their fears and using the abilities that having a strong intellect has given them. Both books also feature characters that face bullying and self esteem issues. The Alien Mind would be a great addition to any reading list if you are looking for a fun sci-fi adventure story that the whole family can enjoy! I'd love to hear your thoughts on it as well!
