If you love watching America's Test Kitchen on PBS, you will love "America's Test Kitchen Cooking School." Highly recommeded for both new/experienced cooks!! Beside recipes, the book covers cooking technics/equipment, if something goes wrong, how to correct it and the step by step pictures are just beautiful. Also just a good read in and of itself for all the excellent information provided on all aspects of cooking!!
This book provides all the details needed to make excellent meals for you and your family. They make it simple to read and follow. The pictures help to keep you on track. I would definitely offer this as a choice for a first time cook or even an intermediate cook. It's easy to read and makes cooking simple.

This book will not load on my galaxy tab 4 nook reader. I get an error message saying it won't open and will be reloaded, and the help desk solution is just try rebooting, or we'll look into it, wait 2 weeks and try again.

I could not believe the size and amount of content this book has. It is huge and I think it tells you anything and everything you want to know about cooking. I am thrilled to get it and anxious to learn more from it as time goes on. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves to cook. I also think it's great for those who don't enjoy cooking but have to do it anyway. There are tips and tricks that would help anyone in the kitchen.
My only source for all things in the kitchen. Recipes, while not always quick or simple, are always perfect.
