The topic of investments can sometimes seem too complicated and overwhelming. In his second edition of "The Anatomy of Investing", Junkans peels back the layers of complexity surrounding this subject and applies a fascinating metaphor, the human body, which is very helpful enlightenment for "the rest of us". This very different approach to this topic has proven to be a break-through for many who are not naturally drawn to numbers, finance, economics, etc.

Therefore, for those of you who are looking to raise your "investment acumen" and apply it to your own financial circumstances, this is definitely the book for you. For those hoping that the book's very frequent references to the human anatomy might put it in the genre of "Fifty Shades of Grey", this isn't the book for you!

Exactly what I needed to hear...

This book is a must read! Junkans manages to take complicated investment jargon to a level that we can all understand. His metaphors between human anatomy and investing are clever and thought-provoking. I feel much more confident to stay the course despite the current state of the markets. The Anatomy of Investing is exactly what I needed to hear.

The Anatomy of Investing by Dean Junkans

As a novice investor, The Anatomy of Investing was and will be a tremendous resource for me as I assemble an investment portfolio. Dean Junkans expresses a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of the investment process. I really enjoyed his ¿Healthy Investment Tips¿ listed at the end of every chapter. I would highly recommend this book to all investors.

Very Useful For Both Investment Experts and Neophytes Alike!

I really enjoyed how Junkans takes the non-tangible, sometimes esoteric concepts of investing and makes it so accessible to the "rest of us". The use of the human body as a model for a prudent investment strategy is something that all of us can understand. I would think that those in the medical professions would particularly find this book to be helpful. Definitely worth the money to buy and the time to read!

Tremendous book for novices and pros alike

Investing is hard enough in normal times. It's especially difficult in times like these. That's why knowledge and perspective are required. Dean Junkans provides both in good measure in an easy-to-read, easy-to-understand investment guide. This is excellent reading/understanding for novices and professionals.
