The Anti-Slavery Alphabetby Anonymous
"The Anti-Slavery Alphabet" is a classic, historical children's book giving the ABC's of anti-slavery. Though there are no pictures in this book, it is nicely laid out and the word pictures puts the message across strong and clear. While originally written for children, some explaining would be necessary for children to understand it. The alphabet, written in the form of a poem, reveals something about slavery with each letter. There is much to learn from this short book, which remains a great educational tool about the horrors of slavery.
