Levi H. Dowling (May 18, 1844 - August 13, 1911) was an American preacher known for proletyzing at a young age, including debates at 13 against Presbyterian elders. Dowling was a pastor by 18 and served as a chaplain for the Union during the Civil War. Dowling is even said to have preached President Lincoln's funeral service to Union troops in Illinois.
