Overview

"Somewhere in England, at the foot of the South Downs in the county of Sussex, is a village where the Aristotles live..."

...or at least they used to at the beginning of the World, when everything was new before the arrival of the young man we today refer to as Father Time. In those early days, only the Wind knew the Aristotles.

Who are or were the Aristotles? Well! They are a fun-loving community of sheep, who, when they are not being sheep climb the hill and lift into the air-despite the enormous picnic they have just eaten-and go sailing just like the clouds they resemble.

When they are not behaving like clouds, the Aristotles live peacefully and sheep-like in their village cottages, where they consume every day: three breakfasts, a mid-morning snack, brunch, three lunches, and an enormous tea; followed by a high tea, supper, and a late-night snack to see them through until morning-when the ritual begins again.

Read the hungry details! Join the Aristotles on their adventure with their friend, the Floating Island. And hear about what happens when the Aristotles are visited by their eccentric cousins the Threeps.

More stories follow! Follow the fortunes of Humbert the Bee; D'Oyly the Spider; Ruby the Ladybird; and Clarissa, The Bee Who Couldn't Bee.

And then...embark upon the fortunes of Jenny-- more fully titled, the Lady Eugenie Beauvais Plantagenet-and become part of the upheavals and magical goings-on at Jenny's ancestral ghost-infested castle in Northumbria: Dragonburgh-where, in an attic, lives Hecate, the ancient Queen of the Witches-a woman who, now reduced in circumstances, makes ends meet as Spell-Maker to the International Guild of Witches...while taking care of her dragon, Hotscale, and defending herself against her jealous boss, Wanda Empiria.
