The Ark Builder
Build an impossible boat. Survive the unthinkable. Trust God when the world calls you crazy.

Noah was just a righteous man trying to live faithfully in a corrupt world—until God appeared with a terrifying warning. The flood is coming. Everything will be destroyed. But Noah can save his family by building an ark so massive, so unprecedented, that everyone thinks he's insane.

For over 50 years, Noah obeys. He cuts timber. He shapes beams. He seals pitch. While neighbors mock and the world grows darker, he builds. When animals begin arriving supernaturally from every direction, the impossible becomes undeniable. When the flood comes, it's more devastating than anyone imagined. And when the waters finally recede, Noah steps into a new world carrying an eternal promise.

The Ark Builder brings Genesis 6-9 to life for young readers ages 10-14 with vivid storytelling, historical authenticity, and biblical accuracy. This isn't a simplified retelling—it's an epic novel that shows the reality of faith, the cost of obedience, and the power of God's promises.

About the Author

Josue D. Rodriguez is passionate about one thing: making the Bible understandable and engaging for people of all ages. Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico in 1980, Josue grew up in a culture where faith and storytelling were woven into daily life. After moving to Connecticut in 1998, he met his wife Jocelyn, and together they're raising two sons, Julian David and Jesiah Daniel—his most honest critics and greatest motivation for making Scripture accessible. Since 2014, Josue has served as pastor at Iglesia Bautista El Calvario (Calvary Baptist Church), where he's spent countless hours watching faces light up when biblical truth becomes clear and relevant. Whether he's preaching to adults, teaching children, or writing for readers of any age, his goal remains the same: to remove the barriers between people and God's Word, making ancient truth feel fresh, compelling, and deeply personal. Josue writes with the conviction that the Bible's profound truths don't need to be complicated or obscure. Through careful research, engaging storytelling, and a deep respect for Scripture, he creates books that help readers—from young children to seasoned adults—discover the richness of God's Word for themselves.
