    interesting

I bought this same book by another author-maybe a nom de plume?-about twenty years ago. Same information and same title. Only the author's name on the cover is different. A good reference to all John Lennon music and creative endeavors. Great read.

Reading this while listening to his music is very interestindg and it helps put all the bootlegs of demos and half finished songs in a somewhat chronological order. This book helps undo the mess that "The Lost Lennon Tapes" created by giving every piece of music, as inconsequential as some of it might be, a place in time.

By no means a biography, but a good source of information on most of his music. Sometimes there is afeeling that there should be more information on some songs than there is, but at other times there seems to not be enough on some other somgs, but that seems more like a fans obsession than anything else.

Would recommend it to people very familiar with Lennon's music rather than to those only beginning to discover it or those who have only a passing interest in his art and music.
