Instructions for the rest of us...

I was thrilled to get my copy today. Not a lot of technical stuff that you can't follow without frustration. The illustrations are in brilliant color and document the process as you move through the instructions. Enough direction is given to help even beginners to create a piece of art but with enough concepts that you can go off and try your own hand on a project of your own. Copies of the photos used in the book are available so you can recreate the examples in the lessons. Great, simple book!

First Digital Painting Book of it's Kind!

A huge step forward in learning and using Corel Painter X and a variety of other art software in partnership with Painter. Beautiful full color layout and design and the color reproduction and paintings jump off the page. This is the first book that is not a textbook type book about Corel Painter X. It is step by step lessons printed in full gorgeous color and gives all the settings for the brushes and the original tutorial images are available for download. Some other software is also used in the book to impress the idea that plugins work with Painter and your creativity is endless.
