Six Regency heroes — One royal hangover

Last night was a blur.

This morning is a shock.

Tonight will be a secret. . .

The Duke of Norwich has two rules: never marry and never go to sea. So on the morning after the most extravagant royal bachelor party of the century, he is stunned to find himself aboard a storm-tossed ship and locked in the arms of a proper lady.

The Countess of Derby has two rules as well: never give away your heart and never let anyone get in the way of your life's deepest passions. But Esme cannot resist Roman when all seems lost at sea. Yet when their ship returns to London, everything will be forgotten . . . as long as they can keep their secret from the Prince Regent. For if the future king commands them to marry, all their fondest dreams will be ruined. But where love is concerned, some rules are made to be broken . . .

Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
In Nash’s highly entertaining second Royal Entourage Regency (after Between the Duke and the Deep Blue Sea), a cursed duke evades his date with death. Roman Montagu, the 17th duke of Norwich, expects to die young, as have the previous 16 dukes. Lady Esme March, countess of Derby, rescues him from being swept overboard in a storm and soothes him in a most intimate manner. Both Esme and Roman are stunned by their encounter, and he feels duty-bound to offer her marriage. While she initially refuses, circumstances beyond their control force the couple together again, and they must decide whether to embrace their mutual search for independence or open their hearts to the possibility of love. Esme is an immensely admirable heroine, her innate kindness and talent for creating magnificent art more than overcoming her “plain” looks. Nash creates intense romantic tension between multidimensional characters to keep the pages turning. Agent: Helen Breitweiser, Cornerstone Literary Agency. (Apr.)

Meet the Author

Sophia Nash was born in Switzerland and raised in France and the United States, but says her heart resides in Regency England. Her ancestor, an infamous French admiral who traded epic cannon fire with the British Royal Navy, is surely turning in his grave.

Before pursuing her long-held dream of writing, Sophia was an award-winning television producer for a CBS affiliate, a congressional speechwriter, and a nonprofit CEO. She lives in the Washington, D.C., suburbs with her husband and two children.

Sophia's novels have won twelve national awards, including the prestigious RITA® Award, and two spots on Booklist's "Top Ten Romances of the Year."

ANOTHER ENJOYABLE READ! THE ART OF DUKE HUNTING by Sophia Nash

    ANOTHER ENJOYABLE READ!

THE ART OF DUKE HUNTING by Sophia Nash is a wonderful continuance the the series. Book II – The Royal Entourage series: Six Regency heroes, but can be read as a stand alone.See, "Between the Duke and the
Deep Blue Sea". Follow The Duke of Norwick(Roman) and The Countess of Derby(Esme) as they navigate the waters of secrets, passion, love, family responsibility,a King's retribution into wedlock and the art of romance. Ms. Nash has hit another Regency home run with "The Art of Duke Hunting". I can hardly wait to see what is next for "The Royal Entourage". Who will be the next one to be "leg-shackled" from the King's entourage? A wonderful series so far. Another great read! Received for an honest review from the publisher. Details can be found at Avon Books, an imprint of Harper Collins Publishing, the author's website and My Book Addiction and More.
