    I Also Recommend:

An inspired spin on the classic Disney princesses

I couldn't wait to crack open this book, considering all the good things I had heard about it. I wasn't disappointed. Each artist featured in the book was given the license to interpret the classic princesses in their own way. Their styles ranged from abstract to kawaii to renaissance, all while capturimg the personality of their respective princesses. The book covers the five "main" princesses: Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, and Ariel. While I admit, I was excited to see these characters reinterpreted, I wish that there had been more art featuring lesser know princesses. For example, one artist seemed particularly intent on breaking the mold and featured both Tiger Lily (Peter Pan) and Kida (Atlantis: The Lost Empire). If the publisher decides to do a second volume, I hope that they feature more of the other princesses. Or even do a villains book! Other than that very small gripe, I'm quite happy with this book and would recommend it highly to others.

I don't recommend this book to any children or parents who want

I don't recommend this book to any children or parents who want to buy it for their kids. The pictures are weird. I thought it would be the real art of disney princesses. However, all the princesses are like dark night evil souls. Not recommended at all!
