I saw the movie last night, and I fell in love with it. I literally cannot wait to buy another ticket to see it. It's charming, witty, entertaining, and romantic. And the music is perfect - the old Hollywood style that I love! It's so rich with emotion, and it's easy to remember what scenes they played each song in. It's just perfect, and I can't get enough of it. Absolutely wonderful, I highly recommend it.

All Music Guide - Jon O'Brien
Recorded with the 80-piece Flanders Philharmonic Orchestra, The Artist is French composer Ludovic Bource's official soundtrack to the Palme d'Or-nominated black-and-white silent movie based on a 1920s film star's relationship with an extra. His fourth collaborative effort with director Michel Hazanavicius features 21 classical pieces inspired by the repertoire of Ravel, Debussy, and Prokofiev alongside classic numbers from Duke Ellington ("Jubilee Stomp"), Rose Murphy ("Pennies from Heaven"), and Red Nichols & His Five Pennies ("Imagination").
