I've recently become very interested in learning more about Asian cooking and was eager to read this cookbook. I liked how it had Chinese and Thai recipes but also Indian recipes and covered the varying tastes and textures of all of Asia. I was hoping it would be a bit more educational, however. It's mostly a pure recipe book. A basics of Asian cooking section might have been a nice addition. I'm about half-way through the book and already have several recipes flagged for use.
