Maxwell Sherman flies to the tropical island nation of Cabrito to help a missionary family with some construction, but instead he arrives just in time to say goodbye to the missionaries as they hurriedly flee the country.
Now Max and the beautiful Ilana are trapped in the jungle and running for their lives. A tribal celebration nearly turned into a ritual sacrifice when Emídio Santana, behind-the-scenes ruler of Cabrito, decided to remove the biggest threat to his power, the troublesome missionary. Max and Ilana may have escaped the sacrifice, but they are about to stumble into even more danger and a thicker plot.
Will the help of their friends and a little divine intervention be enough to get them out alive? Find out in this third and concluding installment of The Astonishing Adventures of Missionary Max.
