The Astro Tutor is a comprehensive volume about basic astrology that contains the author's most popular articles that have appeared over the years in Dell Horoscope magazine. In this book she covers planets, houses, aspects, delineation, relationships and predictive astrology.
Nancy Frederick has published thousands of articles in national astrology magazines, and wrote most of the content of Astrology: Your Daily Horoscope for fifteen years. She contributes frequently to Dell Horoscope, with a bi-monthly column, many articles and features, and is the author of Love and Sex Under the Stars, Tarot: Love Is in the Cards, The Lover's Dream, Palmistry: All Lines Lead to Love, and Love Games: Psychic Paths to Love.
In addition to being an astrologer, Nancy is a master of the Tarot and uses the cards in her counseling work. She has done much research over many years into other aspects of metaphysics. A spiritualist, she worked for some years with a trance medium, talking directly to spirits and getting information about Karma, reincarnation, and technical astrological details.

I found the Astro Tutor a great and insightful resource it's great for anyone who's new to astrology and anyone who already knows a bit about it yet wants a handy reference tool. It's written in Nancy's clear and engaging style. There's no mumbo-jumbo here. Just a lot of great stuff that's a must to have for anyone into astrology. I give it a big recommendation.

Meet the Author

Nancy Frederick is an internationally acclaimed astrologer who has been consistently in print for over twenty years. If you read astrology magazines, you've read Nancy! She has published thousands of articles in all the national astrology magazines. Nancy contributes frequently to Dell Horoscope, with a bi-monthly column, many articles, features like the Yearbook, Purse Books and Love Sign Guides. As the founding editor of ASTRO SIGNS, she conceptualized the popular mini-magazine, designed its format, and wrote much of its contents for many years. She also wrote most of the contents of Astrology Your Daily Horoscope for fifteen years.

She is the author of five books combining various aspects of metaphysics with romance. They are: Love and Sex Under the Stars, Dell, 1989; Tarot: Love is in the Cards; The Lover's Dream; Palmistry: All Lines Lead to Love; Love Games: Psychic Paths to Love, Lynx Books, 1988. Her latest book, The Astro Tutor, AFA, 2008, is a collection of her most popular articles teaching astrology to appear in Dell HoroscopeMagazine. It has been newly expanded and updated here for this electronic version.

Nancy is certified by many astrology organizations: American Federation of Astrologers, NCGR in New York and Aquarius Workshops in Los Angeles. She has taught astrology privately in New York and Los Angeles, has lectured in New York and taught through the Learning Annex in Los Angeles as well as at conferences sponsored by the AFA.
