THE RAM

Aries wants displays of affection kept to a minimum. Showing regard by holding hands pleases her, but anything that seems to be sexual should be done in private.

Aries is a highly sexual woman. She thinks about sex at least once a day and Aries wants sex at least three times a week.

She has no set time or number of dates, days, or weeks before becoming sexual, but it's not likely to be a long time. Having sex on a first date isn't unheard of as long as she hasn't felt pressured by her partner.
"I don't like rules. Time isn't important, chemistry is. If you feel like sleeping with someone right away, go for it. Trust your instincts."

Aries is generally pretty good at distinguishing lust from love, making her quite comfortable with casual sex as long as it's practiced safely.

For her monogamy is not about sex; it's about commitment and bonding. In essence, she believes in serial monogamy, one lover at a time for as long as it works.
"I hope for monogamy, but I know some people aren't suited to it. I've never been faithful.

DOES SEX HAVE A SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE FOR YOU?
While she may feel comfortable having sex outside an otherwise bonded relationship, sex isn't merely physical. She is quite private about her concept of spirituality and an element of that is the high that sex brings.
"Sex allows me to feel that I can mingle my spirit with another's—that we can exchange breath—especially if I feel I am with a soul mate whose pleasure / passion is every bit as strong as my own."

Aries has a take-charge nature. She is usually the one to initiate sex.

"My most wonderful encounter was made extraordinary by the circumstances. I was in love with one of my best friends, and it was unrequited for years. But we became emotionally intimate over time and crossed some boundaries—sleeping in the same bed, touching, caressing, partial nudity—but had never kissed or made love. One very hot night we were sleeping in his single bed. It was raining, thunder and lightning. The window was open. We were in our underwear, caressing each other and he was lying on top of me. The room was dark except for the lightning. I asked him to kiss me; he said no. But then in another moment he did and I felt like the room exploded. A huge bolt of lightning came down at that moment and I couldn't stop shaking. I think about that moment a lot. He's the only actual man I fantasize about and it is always in that bed."
HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE TO YOUR PARTNER YOUR SEXUAL WANTS AND NEEDS?
Aries is a Fire Sign, the Sign of action. When it comes to communicating about sex, especially in bed, she prefers body language to words, but she welcomes having her partner tell her what he does and doesn't like.
"I guide him and respond to what he does that pleases me."
"I use both [body language and words], but mostly through gestures until I am very comfortable with a partner."
DO YOU THINK OF YOURSELF AS BEING IN THE MAINSTREAM SEXUALLY, MORE EXPERIMENTAL, OR OPEN TO ANYTHING?
Her range of sexuality goes from the mainstream to experimental, from intercourse and oral sex to using food, ice cubes, and hot wax. She might accept an occasional spanking, use a leather or latex accessory, or wear a blindfold or high-heeled boots to add excitement. She might also put on a costume, use a vibrator, and try light bondage. Forget the chains, paddles, and electricity. She'll be turned off by the unusual behaviors these items suggest.

HOW IMPORTANT TO YOU IS THE SEXUAL ENVIRONMENT?
As Aries rules the head, aromas are a stimulant for her. Cleanliness matters. The smell of clean sheets is probably the most important element in the environment for sex.
"Cleanliness is extremely important. The rest doesn't matter at all."

WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO HAVE SEX?
Privacy matters. Smells of grass, trees, flowers, the lapping of waves on the beach might be turn-ons, but not if anyone else is remotely nearby. Her favorite place for sex is the bedroom.

WHAT PUTS YOU IN THE MOOD FOR SEX?
Two different kinds of behaviors, romantic and highly physical, put Aries in the mood. On the one hand, lavish some attention on her, bring her a flower (it needn't be a bouquet). A token that shows her lover cares about her is very sexy to Aries. On the more active side, working out, roughhousing, and playing at forcing her to have sex get her very excited.
"Music, candles, eating in bed, French kissing, a small gesture like holding hands, can be very arousing to me. Erotic touching, kissing from toes up or eyes down."
"Thunderstorms!! Lying in the sun, talking about sex, reading erotica, romantic movies ... all put me in the mood."
WHAT'S YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARD PORNOGRAPHY?
Pornography is either of no interest to her or a turnoff. After all, Aries wants her lover to think she is the best there is. Watching some woman with enhanced breasts performing multiple acts of sex on a video is likely to trigger competitive feelings and undermine her own sex drive.
"Porn doesn't have enough emotions and feelings in it. Perhaps if it included a good love story I'd like it a whole lot more."
