This is a must have for amateur or veteran athletes! It has all the ins and outs for prevention of injuries. The meal plan in the back of the book was an added bonus and has delicious recipes. I found the book very easy to navigate and the diagrams helped me understand the body more and realize what areas were really hurting. I highly recommend this book to anyone who excercises, and if you don't, you'll want to get going after reading it. Go get it!

Don't let the title deter you, athlete or not, this is a fantastic reference book that every family should have on hand...just in case. Jordan's explanations of anatomy, injuries and treatments are clear and concise. For those of you who don't live in the NYC area and cannot consult with him in person (I have recommended him to countless friends), it is a must-buy.
