    Five Stars!

As an ardent reader of Christian apocalyptic fiction, I am totally enthralled by the Left Behind series. LaHaye and Jenkins offer up a wonderful series that helps people to visualize the events of the Book of Revelation and other scriptures. What makes this series stand out is its emphasis on sticking close to the scriptural prophecies of the Bible. I love it. But I have read another end-times book that I believe is far better than this entire series. CONQUEST OF PARADISE by Britt Gillette maintains the scriptural ties of the Left Behind series while offering readers a far more believable plot. Also, the antichrist character is not the cookie-cutter depiction of evil that you find in Left Behind. I found this book nearly impossible to put down, and I highly recommend it as additional reading for those who love the Left Behind series.
