Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
Audrey Hepburn was different. "She has authentic charm," Alfred Lunt noted. "Most people simply have nice manners." Her Roman Holiday costar, Gregory Peck, described her unique gift as a hybrid of high chic and high spirits. Whatever the case, the pixie-like actress still enthralls us the same way that she ensnared her leading men decades ago. This sumptuous large-format pictorial presents the Oscar-winning actress in public and in private. A welcome self-indulgence.

Unique and A Great Tribute to Audrey Hepburn

"The Audrey Hepburn Treasures" is a unique and a great tribute to a special lady. This book is truly a treasure of special things that were part of Audrey Hepburn's life. For example, included are sketches made by Audrey , the letter that appointed Audrey as the official ambassador to Unicef, a copy of the Unicef passport, and a copy of a letter from Cary Grant written in 1982. This is just a brief sampling of what is included in "The Audrey Hepburn Treasures." Bookmans the bookseller from Tucson AZ did a great job packaging the book. However, the book took 17 days to arrive at my house. I recommend that in the future when I order an oversized book like "Treasures", I will spend the extra money and send the book special handling.

    A Wonderful View and Tribute

The artifacts, photos and text is what one would expect about a Miss Hepburn. Very well put together and a page turn to view family pictures, and a look into a private life made public by the entertainment industry. The book is definitely worth purchasing for yourself or a friend.
