    Daringkit's tale: chap two

As she stared at the statue, she tried to take a step foreward. She saw the tiles and swatted a rock at the floor. It landed on one and a bunch of arrows shot out of the wall and were embedded in the wall. She studied the tiles. "Hmm... aha! These animals are all predetors! Exept... rats!" She said. She placed a paw on a rat tile. Nothing happened. Daringkit lept from rat tile to rat tile until she reached the statue. She got there and studied it. She got bored and took it. A cylinder extended from the pedestal. It sank and the floor crumbled and was lava. She jumped on the pedestal to avoid the quickly rising lava. As it climbed the pedestal, all the pillars fell. She lept onto a pillar and climbed it. The lava continued to rise. She made a jump for it and managed to cling to the skylight. She let her breath out and gasped as a gust of wind came from the temple and she was blown out of the skylight and into the jungle. (Chap three, next result.)
