Editorial Reviews

Entertainment Weekly - Clarissa Cruz
If only Thelma and Louise had tucked this into the glove box before taking off on their ill-fated trip. Practical, cheeky, and brimming with attitude, The Bad Girl's Guide to the Open Road is a raucous mix of the humorous and the truly useful (pantyhose can fix a busted fan belt). Tuttle reminds women that sometimes being an on-the-road badass isn't just fun, it's necessary. A
Mademoiselle - Cathi Hanauer
This service-meets-sarcasm book is ouch-sharp and fabulously baaad.

A Good book's guide to the open road

This is great!!! My best friend and I have been planning a road trip for a while now and this book really helped us out with our itinerary. We had to reroute to see the world's biggest ball of twine and other American classics like that. It's a great time and a laugh out loud book. I love it!!!!

From Cameron's first Bad Girl Guide to the last...I've been a fan. Her wild imagination and no-limits "advice" makes you want to jump in a pink Caddy and head for New Mexico! Brad Pitt in the passenger seat is desirable, but not necessary.

    Comedy bling.

This book is so funny it made me pee my pants, twice. It offers practical advice on everything from getting out of a ticket to fixing your muffler and cooking food on your engine. Plus it has a sweet bumper sticker in the back. Everytime I glance at my copy I feel the urge to hit the open road.

Always a Bad Girl at Heart

If your are looking for a deep literary read, this is probably not the book for you. But if you want a funny, quick read.... read it baby! My copy of the book is circulating amongst my 40 somethingish friends. If I would have had this book at hand when I was in college, some of my friends and I would have been in sooo much trouble. We are all married with kids, but it doesn't mean we don't remember how to be BAD! Thelma and Gutter Girl, can't wait when we hit the open road in June! Louise

    Go, girl, go!

Marvelous book for the oppressed woman in need of a long stretch of highway not flanked by tollbooths or commuters in yuppie-mobiles. Loved the part detailing the many uses of a pantyliner. Intended for the 'road sister' in all of us. The timid and the male not allowed.

If there's ONE book a girl should own......

I wish someone would have told me about this book earlier. Im in college now and I have an awesome English teacher who told us about it and read some of it to us. She had an idea of buying every girl a copy but it was rare in stores. Every Girl needs this book!!!!
