    Very disappointing

I really had high hopes for the SUN but it offered very little. Baltimore sun needs to follow the lead of the magazines offered on the book color that make you feel like you are holding on to it. The SUN had very little content compared to the actually newspaper and i felt like i could get more articles from there website. Hopefully they get there act together soon and have all the content that you would get from the actually paper subscription.

    Works out well

So far I like this paper. General info is good but a little heavy on sports for me personally. Enjoy receiving it daily and look forward to it. Most days it appears on its own (sometimes I have to manually check for new content to download). Fairly easy to navigate. Weekend edition is larger than weekday. It has been a nice addition to my Nook. Would recommend.

    A First Quality Reading Experience

I was happy to see the Baltimore Sun finally offered on the Nook. It is a great reading experience for international, national and local news. Many of the international and national stories and editorials are carried over from the national Tribune staff.

The paper is enjoyable and does not have too much fluff and place holder items. I was always fond of this paper for quality reporting without the micro details of its Washington contemporaries.

The formatting is good, not perfect.

    An enjoyable read.

    Don't bother...

I've had this subscription for almost a year now, hoping the quality would improve. Instead, the layout, proofreading and navigation show increasing shoddiness each day. Missing articles, lines missing or misplaced in articles, blank pages that halt navigation, no attempt to display info in tables, the list goes on and on. With other publications incorporating increased interactivity into their digital publications, the Tribune Company's lack of effort is just sad. This version of The Sun is definitely not worth your time or money.

    I'll hang in there awhile.

Miss the photos, cartoons and crossword puzzles but it is a good start for the Sun. I am checking out other newspapers. Hopefully, I'll discover one that is presented in "magazine style" which makes for a richer, more enjoyable reading experience.

    Low Price, for low quality

The Baltimore Sun monthly subscription price is half that of other papers. There is a reason for that. It's half the paper. Baltimore has become a smaller town, so I don't expect a big apple paper, but the Sun ereader edition content is really lacking and navigation is clumsy. I'll try it again next year, but for now, it's a no-go for me.

All that is left of local papers

It gets 3 stars because it is the last Baltimore paper. If you are real liberal you are gonna love this paper.

It's great to read a hometown newspaper even when you're 1000's of miles away.

    more from this reviewer

    Mostly local news

As someone from the Northeast with family in Baltimore I was interested in receiving The Sun. While it was am easy read, unfortunately for me, I found mostly local news and at times a chore to get to it (I had 5 trials going however enjoyed trying them all) and therefore canceled my subscription.
