More About This Book

Overview

A 20-something branch manager of a billion-dollar Texas bank who takes it apart from the inside out.

The Banker's Trust is the story of the biggest bank robbery in history that no one's ever heard of—until now. In his debut, George Cole retraces the footsteps of one of the co-conspirators in the robbery that brought down a family, a community, and a billion-dollar Texas corporation. The narrator describes, at break-neck speed, the means, the methods, and the motivation that drew him into the crime wave started by one of the bank's own employees. Your pulse will quicken, your chest will constrict, and your breathing will become erratic as you watch him self-destruct before your very eyes.

Not since The Postman Always Rings Twice has there been an account of such a simple story told so powerfully. Clear your schedule. You won't be able to put The Banker's Trust down for even a moment.

    Great book, The Banker's Trust

This book was recommended by a work colleague and I was able to read The Banker's Trust in two short evenings. Once I started, I did not look up. Pick up this book if you want some fun, intrigueing reading that will keep you on the edge. I can't wait for the author's next book.
