The Bass Player's Wife #1 [NOOK Book]

Overview

Mike trusts everybody. He even trusted his wife. We were in California for a few weeks to record some tracks when Mike met a girl. She worked at the sandwich shop that delivered our lunch. Her name was Cherry. With a name like that, I guess her parents were hoping she’d grow up to be a stripper or a hooker.

She was the classic beach bunny type-long blond hair, big smile, a golden tan, blue eyes and a chest that made my jaw drop. The first time she walked in the door, Mike lost ...

The first time she walked in the door, Mike lost it. He was falling all over himself to help her. She was just barely eighteen and he was twenty-five. He thought he'd found the love of his life. At first, I thought she was only interested in hanging out with the band. Later, I figured out that she was looking for a way to escape the crappy life she was living. Whatever their reasons, they snuck off and got married so I went over to help Mike pack her stuff up and get it in the band’s bus.

We finished our sessions a few days after Mike and Cherry got married and we were on our way back home. The second night on the road, Cherry ‘accidentally’ got into Jim's bunk on her way back from the bathroom. Her story would have been a little more convincing if she hadn’t pulled Jim's pants down before she realized where she was.

Meet the Author

Nick Foxx grew up in the rural south. He studied music and art with some of the finest musicians and creative minds in the country. He played first professional gig (and got paid) when he was twelve years old. That was six years after his first play was chosen to be produced for a theater workshop at his school. Over the years, he's won awards for music, writing and art.

More than two dozen albums that he produced, engineered or wrote music for grace the wall of his office. He's scored independent films, stage productions and written jingles. After forty years in the music business he still finds time to write music for TV and record work of his own.

Under the pen name Nicky Faulkes, he won the Earth Day award from literotica.com for his story "The Time Of My Life".
