Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Ardley provides a good overview of what must be taken into account when planning a bathroom, including the requirements of singles, families, and those with special needs. With its flip charts for color and storage choices and templates for floor plans, this book will help amateurs get started, but Andrew Wormer's Bathroom Idea Book (LJ 9/15/99) remains a more comprehensive guide to bathroom planning. Recommended for public libraries where there is a continued interest. Copyright 2001 Cahners Business Information.

Clever design and a thorough treatment of all the details make this an effective resource for anyone contemplating a bathroom remodel, including those on a budget. Two of the book's features are a set of reusable stickers of components that can be arranged on a plastic grid (also included) and a series of pages that are cut in half horizontally to allow mixing and matching of different style and color combinations. Chapters cover quick fixes, accessories, storage, lighting, and heating, as well as the more expected subjects of tile, paint, and fixtures. Annotation c.
