Like most war books, this is a difficult read. However, the difficulty does not come from the subject matter or graphic content included within. Instead, the difficulty comes in trying to follow the author's thought patterns. The chapter titles indicate that the book should be easy to follow, but the divisions within the book are jumpy and in-cohesive. If looking for a book on The Battle of the Bulge, this is a difficult one to follow. However, if the reader wants to find a book on the 101st PIR, this gives a grand perspective into the overall experience. Still, I'm sure other books would be preferred by scholars. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
