    GOOD FOR A SHORT NOVEL

I can usually figure out the ending to a story that I am reading but this one caught me by suprise. I enjoyed reading it even thought it was only 35 pages long. Give it a try.

    A True Romance

I thoroughly enjoyed this 30 page short story. The author had a good plot and well a developed relationship beteeen Rose and the Beast. It kind of reminded me of the old tv show BEAUTY AND THE BEAST with Ron Purlman and Linda Hamilton. A forbidden love story! Enjoyed the entire story. Good job author. U should make this into a longer novella.. i highly recommend this short to everyone. Vallie

    Very Sweet

Cute take on the story Beauty and the Beast. Even though 35 pages, this story was well written and good character development. Will be looking for more stories by this author. (Ljb)

The Beast in the Mirror by Lauralynn Elliott
The Beast was once a playboy in modern day England. After being enticed by a beautiful woman, he quickly saw that within her she was pure evil. She didn't take rejection well and turned his good looks into something beastly. Giving him a unbreakable mirror so he could always see his horrid face.

Rose was enjoying her new surroundings. She lived in a lovely cottage with her folks and there were beautiful ruins nearby that she loved to paint. And then she met someone who lived within the ruins.

Christopher longs for Rose to care for him, but has no idea how will react to his cursed face. He's no longer the proud playboy with the handsome looks. He's the Beast who just longs for love. This is only about nine pages long, yet tells a whole story.

    good book

Christopher thought be was a beast. But when Rose showed him from her mirror he wasn't a beast after all. He had spent 3 years of his life believing he was a hideous creature already to venture into the world. Christopher took Rose into his arms and kissed her gently. I enjoyed this novel.ShelleyMA

This was cute. I wouldn't call it a take of Beauty and the Beast. He wasn't a beast, just gullible. JS

    Cute

Cute short story. A modern day version of "Beauty and the Beast". Glad it was free. It's only about 35 pages long. I suspect that this was probably written by kid...

    Wow!

Nice adult modern appeal, but the reason he was a "beast" was a kind of well a junior high book content but the ending words were well added and left to the imagination
