    Yes...and no

I've read this book cover to cover more than once from the time it was first published. I've come to the conclusion that it makes it far to easy to lump ALL Pagan religious (that is non-Christian based practices) into one boat and label them all as 'evil'. In an honest effort to remain logical and fair I will say that while the author's experience as written is an eye-opener, it in NO WAY should be assumed that all religious practices that are non-Christian based are of the same ilk as those of the author's unfortunate experiences. I am glad the author found out that what she was involved in was a slight of hand with an intent to defraud the innocent 'patients' and found a more positive spiritual path. However, I am concerned that the overall tone of this book makes it all too easy to create an 'us and them' attitude towards anyone whose relious practices or prayers are divergent from those of the Christianized norms. That adviserial attitude divides and causes harm and distrust rather than builds a bridge based on gentlness of spirit and mutual love or respect. And that can NEVER be good.

A Guide To Determine What Self-Help is Occultic

This book not only helps you determine what activities are occultic apart from what activities are Godly, it helps determine for the person who embarks out into the area of self help material what type of activities are not godly and can lead to demonic activity. A must read for the avid learner! U.G.

    Eye-opening yet comforting

Johanna's book brings to light many poignant things concerning the occult, supernatural phenomena, and the spiritual realm through two disctinct lenses: her personal experience and the Word of God. While a relatively easy read, it is not light material. Readers should be warned that she is fearless in recounting her day spent within occultic activity and demonic opression. Nevertheless, by God's grace, her work stands as a warning beacon--if nothing else--, opening the eyes of her readers to the dangers and deceptions that come with such power.

    A reviewer

I've read this book several times. It shows a very clear line between being 'self-dependent' or God dependent. I would recommend this book to anyone who has questions about the things happening in thier lives that seem supernatural. Blessings!

Curses are real and affect generations.

I bought this book after seeing the author interviewed. She was telling the truth about a tramatic childhood of insidents of demons revealing themselves to her. They frightened and alienated her from friends and classmates. Her parents were new age, open minded and clueless that a former female relative in the occult gave these entities license to torment Susanna. Her journey is a must read for anyone who needs answers about evil spiritual occurances in their lives. I have gifted the book to a well meaning self proclaimed 'good' witch who loves her family and doesn't seem to put 2 and 2 together as they reap the reward of her choices. Buy it. Read it. Pass it on.

Truth is scarier than any fiction

Hard insight into reality. We're all so quick to believe stories of strange occurrences and experiences somone else has heard about. Then a real life, "in your face" autobiography is written and my first response is, "no way!". This is a must read... but keep the lights on!

    This is a great book.

This book is well worth the read. It is well balanced and gives sound advice on what to watch out for and what to do once you have found yourself in the situation.

    Great book.

This book helped me through a very hard time in my life. It helped me to understand what was going on in the spiritual world and why I was under demonic oppression. This book also helped to unvale some things in my life that were not of God, and explained the dangers involved with the occult. This is a great book for anyone that wants to know the reality of the occult and the danger it brings.
