This was a great guide to photographing a wedding in the photojo

This was a great guide to photographing a wedding in the photojournalistic style. She also stresses the importance of creating your own look within that style so your work is recognized as yours. It's broken down into easy to read sections with tons of photographs which I always like. There is also a little bonus at the end where she briefly discusses applying the same techniques to children's photography. Worth the read.

In "The Beautiful Wedding" Tracy Dorr does a fantastic job advising wedding photographers on the various aspects of photographing a wedding. I found the sections on cultivating the clients' trust and capturing emotion to be particularly helpful and informative. These are two aspects of wedding photography that are essential, yet sometimes tricky to accomplish. And based on the elegant and natural-looking photos throughout her book, it seems that Dorr is quite an accomplished and skilled wedding photographer.
