    Help to those who feel there can be none

    At a time when all you can do is cry, be angry at others who are happily going on with their lives, this book explains that all those unpleasant thoughts are normal for a grieving parent. The most helpful book I read.

    Wonderful, Excellent, Outstanding

    My sixteen year old son went to Heaven on August 22, 1999. What a nightmare. My friend who also lost a child 12 years before gave this book to read. It amazed me that it explained exactly how I felt. I learned a lot from this book and I order them to give to parents who have also lost children. Sad to say I have given away to many of them. I have some on order now. Excellent!! The part that taught me how my oldest son was dealing with this lose was very helpful.

    Tells It Like it Is

    After the death of our teenage son in an automobile accident, my husband and I received many books as gifts. We both agree that we got more help from this book than any other. When someone asks me what they can do for a friend who has lost a child, I always recommend this book.

    Very outdated!

    I read some of the reviews on here and that is why I decided to purchase this book. It is extremely outdated and I would not recommend it.

    A must have,

    After I lost my son I found myself with no true convictions to draw upon, this book could've helped me alot. I found it later though after I had finally came to terms with my loss. This is one of the books that I would now purchase for a freind in need.

    This One is the Best

    Someone gave me this book when our 15 year old son was killed in 1981. It was a tremendous help then (and still is). It covers just about every conceivable circumstance involving the loss of a child. It can be read over and over and it still provides answers to different problems each time. It is broken down into catagories so you can go to a specific subject without having to search throughout the book; for example, 'Bereavement and Guilt' or 'Bereavement and Marriage.' I've given away many, many copies--even to complete strangers. I always keep them on hand. (I'm looking for more today.)
